ICE-OLATION (2006) - A game by Alex Palacio

Ice-olation is a game created by Alex Palacio and co-produced and directed by Johan Palacio. The music was contributed by Richard Medina copyright 2006. Version 1 was completed in July 2005, Version 2 was completed in January 2006 and Version 3 was completed in July 2006. We were unsuccessful in converting this game to Java or Flash so that it can be played through the browser. It may be available for download. Ice-olation is a stradegy based game where you need to study patterns and directions to get familiar with each new level. The 1-ups give you a chance at extra tries. Move and think quickly while moving around on each level.

 

There are SAVE BLOCKS located throughout the game to save your progress. A file titled: "iceolationsavedgame" will be saved on your computer. Load this file when returning to the main menu.

 

Ice-olation is a game in which you play a boy who avoids the big crowds and students from his school. He must get from classroom to hallway while avoiding other students. If he is stopped, then he will lose a life. Guide him through 15 levels to win the game.

 

Other items to collect in the game include 1-UP yellow feathers, blue invisibility feather, ice blocks (makes enemies dissapear), and keys to unlock doors.

 

The game includes a Highscore Table that keeps the top 10 players and scores.
